I am Wanda Mora and have been in the beauty industry for over 30 years. My passion as a colorist and an extensionist has motivated me to acquire a plethora of certifications in almost every major company such as Great Lengths, Hairtalk, Bellami, Goldwell, Wella, Ouidad, just to name a few. I am a salon owner for 9 years. I have mentored over 25 stylists as I also have a passion for the education side of our business. I am known to be a local “celebrity stylist”. My side gig has been real estate for the past 25 years. I love to flip homes, buy and sell and most of all interior design.
My greatest work is as a humanitarian as I love to help others particularly in time of need. I am known for the work I spearheaded during Hurricane Maria where I tragically lost my father who ignited the spark in me to give me the strength to help our people in the island of PR for the following 6 months. My organization (Puerto Rico Strong) was able to raise over $400,000 in cash and provisions to take to PR. The hardest, most rewarding work I have done in my life and I will never forget how everyone pulled together to help us. Every race, every walk of life, every community member. It didn’t matter. You were all there and I LOVE you endlessly for that.
In my personal life I enjoy dining, shopping, fashion, theatre, travel and more. I am a foodie and love to cook. I’m a puppy grandma to Pocho (mini golden doodle) who stole our hearts. My mother was my world and most would say I am exactly like her with her witt, sense of style and kind heart. I lost her 1 year ago and it was the most devastating time in my life. In my early years I experienced poverty (mom raised us on $3.35 an hour), came from humble beginnings. My sister Irene (mom) gave me the most amazing niece Portia. I had 7 amazing siblings (now 6). I married a MLB player at the age of 19 (hss) and had my son Wil Cordero Jr at 23. I divorced and recently lived a second short marriage. My aspirations are to travel more, live more, love more, motivate and inspire more. I love life and want to send all of my great energy to the universe.
